Fact Sheet

Being built without having any trees cut down, Latitude 10 fuses sustainability with luxury by offering guests any amenity they could wish for while knowing the surrounding wildlife and nature is being protected during their stay at this eco-resort.

Located within minutes by bicycle (which we’re happy to provide!) of Santa Teresa, one of the hippest surf town in Costa Rica, Latitude 10 allows guests to learn more about the local culture from the great dining to eclectic shopping. Delectable culinary treats made with fresh, local ingredients can also be experience in the heart of our resort, the Clubhouse, where guests can socialize with other guests in the open-air “great room” or enjoy some private time in the infinity pool.

Regardless if you are searching for wellness and relaxation with daily massages, yoga session, or unwinding by the beach with a good book, or exciting activities such as surfing, horseback riding, or fishing excursions, Latitude 10 is like staying with good friends at their luxury beach house – you will have everything you want. Come and enjoy the famous Costa Rican “pura vida” in the beautiful white sand beaches at Latitude 10!

Casitas

Tucked amongst the native vegetation, lie Latitude 10’s five casitas. Each private bungalow is uniquely and luxuriously appointed, with its own personality and vibe. The wooden structures have shades but no windows and there are no locks on the doors. The bathrooms are completely open-air with large hot water showers and gardens. It is more than a lovely room, it is a structure enabling you to sleep and reside completely in harmony with nature.

Porches with cozy chairs and hammocks, ceiling fans, safe deposit boxes, and a twice-daily housekeeping service add to your comfort. In the evening, we will pull down the shades, light candles, burn incense, and dim the lights. Our turndown service paired with the sounds of nature provides a very tranquil and very Costa Rican experience.

The Culinary Experience

We invite you to pull up a chair at the bar and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast while listening to the waves rolling in. After a great day, why not watch the sunset from the pool with a cold drink in your hand? Or perhaps you would like to play a game of chess and then curl up on the couch with a book. Good conversation and community awaits you at the clubhouse. While we don't offer traditional a la carte restaurant service at Latitude 10, we do offer a distinguished culinary experience that will pleased the most discerning palate.

Planning a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or proposal? Just let our front desk know and we’d be happy to create an extraordinary experience for you and your loved one. We are also able to accommodate those with special dietary needs such as vegan, gluten-free, kosher and allergies.
