Latitude 10 is located on the Nicoya Peninsula of the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica just outside the small town of Santa Teresa. It is known worldwide for being one of the best surfing spots in Costa Rica with a variety of world-class breaks offering ideal surf conditions throughout the year. Here you can experience the diverse wildlife while you share with people from different cultures and countries. Even though Santa Teresa is a small town, it offers a great variety of restaurants, bars, shops, activities, pristine beaches and spectacular sunsets.
To the south, the town of Santa Teresa is just minutes from Latitude 10 by bicycle (we are happy to lend you one of ours). To the north are some of the Nicoya Peninsula’s most pristine and unexplored beaches.
Costa Rica is a small but beautiful country located in Central America, between Nicaragua and Panama. The Caribbean Sea borders its Eastern Coast and the Pacific Ocean borders the West. While it is one of the smaller countries in Central America, it is actually home to almost 5% of the world’s biodiversity. An environmental and democratic country, Costa Rica prides itself on being a peaceful nation having abolished its army in 1949. “Pura Vida”, meaning Pure Life, is a mantra of the Costa Rican people. It means living in the moment fully, enjoying life’s celebrations both big and small, and that all is well.
