Sundays in Santa Teresa

Salute the weekend at the uber-cool Rocamar

Think Sundays mean boring evenings in? Think again! That’s never the case at Latitude 10 – we’re based in the most hip of all Costa Rican beach towns. The clock strikes 5:30pm and Santa Teresa’s Pacific horizon is ablaze with the dynamic colors of a fiery and world-famous sunset – sleepy siesta time for some, but mojito o’clock for others. In a town blessed with heavenly beaches, funky eateries and bars, chic locals and international jet-setters, Sunday evenings are to be celebrated. No weekend-mourning, no back-to-work blues, just a warm Santa Teresa style nod to the weekend and a big hello to the week of glorious sunshine and surf ahead.

Sundays in Santa Teresa

Catch a quick siesta in our beach hammocks before heading over to Rocamar in Santa Teresa.

If Saturday’s sunset spot is one of our idyllic, colorful beach hammocks, then Sunday’s the day to mix it up with an evening at Rocamar. Think Santa Teresa meets Ibiza, tropical house vibes flowing from the DJ decks as the sun goes down, stylish people sipping passion fruit sours, lounging around on the fine white sand and the double beach beds. That’s not to mention the fire dancers and hula-hoopers. Yep, this is how we like to end the week down in Santa Teresa.

Extravagant Entertainment

Santa Teresa meets Ibiza at Rocamar – beachfront DJ sets and extravagant entertainment await.

Jump on one of our bikes and pedal the short way into town, or equally stroll along the gorgeous Pacific shore – you’ll spot Rocamar a mile off. However you get there, make sure to work up an appetite for a memorable evening of divine beachfront dining, cocktails, and entertainment. Keep your eyes peeled for Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady too – it’s not unusual to spot them out and about at sundown. When even Sundays are so happening, it’s no wonder that Santa Teresa has become such a hotspot for it travelers and those in the know.
